Peter Ramage
Peter grew up in berwick-Upon-Tween, he joined the Newcastle United School of Excellence when he was 13 and was originally a striker but moved to defence due to there being too many strikers.
HE gradually worked his way up to the team and made his debut in a UEFA Cup tie against Olympiakos and was soon forced into first team action due to injury, amking his first league start at Old Trafford where his attempted clearance actually set up Wayne Rooney's wonder volley.
His promising form kept him in the squad and he was a regular during 2005/2006 making 29 appearances and injury to Stephen Carr allowed him to play more regularly, although in a right back role.
