Adboulaye Faye
Faye began his career at ASEC Ndiambour before moving onto Jeanne d'Arc. He left Senegal in 2002 to join French side Lens, he spent two years at France before moving to Bolton Wanderers, where irnoically, he made his debut in a 2-0 against Newcastle United in which he arially outmuscled Alan Shearer.
In 2006-2007 he was primarily a defender following the sale of Bruno N'Gotty and Radhi Jaidi and he developed a formidable partnership with Abdoulaye Meite which ensure that Bolton kept a good defensive home record. FAye was also noted for a tackle on Blackburn's Matt Derbyshire where the ball went straight upwards and reached the peak of the Reebok Stadium.
When Bolton manager Sam ALlardyce moved to Newcastle, Abdoulaye followed in a £2million move.
